Watching television can no longer be considered purely a form of entertainment. In 2017, it is an act of Resistance. In an age when civil rights are under attack, it has never been more important to support shows with three-dimensional LGBT characters and storylines -- as well as those that, either through laughter or tears, humanize members of other marginalized populations.
