Sony and Naughty Dog unveiled a new trailer for the sequel to 2013's "The Last of Us" at the E3 convention this weekend. Ellie, the child protagonist of the first game, is allegedly the central character in "The Last of Us 2." The trailer featured a kiss between an adult Ellie and a new character named Dina. Ellie was revealed as queer in a downloadable content prequel from the first game. Developer Naughty Dog seems determined to continue exploring her sexuality in the sequel. There is currently no official release date for "The Last of Us 2." Share if you think we need more LGBTQ protagonists in video games.
