       West Coast Ensemble will launch its 20th anniversary season with the Los Angeles premiere of A New Brain, a new musical by Falsettos creators William Finn and James Lapine. The story of a young composer given a second chance on life after a life-threatening medical emergency, A New Brain is based on true events in Finn's life.
