Winners of the South by Southwest Film Conference and Festival in Austin were announced Tuesday, with two lesbian films taking home audience awards. Lisa Udelson's Lifetime Guarantee: Phranc's Adventures in Plastic, about Jewish lesbian folksinger Phranc and her booming trade as a Tupperware Lady, won the audience award for documentary first film, while Harry Dodge's By Hook or by Crook, a butch noir road-trip comedy-drama, won in the narrative category.
