Out Legally Blonde director Robert Luketic is in negotiations to shoot the big-screen version of the hit TV show Dallas. The long-running prime-time soap about a wealthy Texas oil family originally ran on CBS from 1978 to 1991. It joins such TV titles as the upcoming Dukes of Hazzard and Bewitched in getting big-screen makeovers. Robert Harling, whose credits include 1989's Steel Magnolias, wrote the screenplay for 20th Century Fox-based Regency Enterprises. Luketic is in postproduction on New Line Cinema's Monster-in-Law, starring Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda, which will be released next year. He also directed Win a Date With Ted Hamilton!
