Bad Education, the acclaimed new film from out Spanish director Pedro Almodovar, has been nominated for five European Film Awards, reports Variety. The movie will duke it out with Alejandro Amenabar's The Sea Inside, Faith Akin's Head-On, Christophe Barratier's The Chorus, Lukas Moodysson's A Hole in My Heart, and Mike Leigh's Vera Drake. Almodovar is also in the running in the Best Director category. The awards will be presented December 11 in Barcelona.
