Eddie Izzard to
costar in Super Ex

Anna Faris and cross-dressing British comedian Eddie Izzard have signed on to join Uma Thurman and Luke Wilson in Ivan Reitman's comedy Super Ex. The story centers on a man (Wilson) who learns that his girlfriend (Thurman) is a superhero and breaks up with her when she becomes too controlling and neurotic. She then uses her powers to torment and embarrass him. Faris will play Hannah, the love interest of Wilson's character. Izzard will play the villainous Professor Bedlam. Faris, whose credits include the Scary Movie franchise, stars in the upcoming films Just Friends and Waiting. Izzard, who is developing a dark comedy series for FX as a starring vehicle, is best known for the Emmy-winning special Eddie Izzard: Dress to Kill. (Tatiana Siegel, via Reuters)
