Playbill.com reports that out actor-playwright Charles Busch recently finished principal photography on his feature directorial debut, A Very Serious Person. Written by Busch and Carl Andress, the film stars Busch as a male nurse who forms an unusual family with a patient (Polly Bergen) and her young grandson (P.J. Verhoest). A Very Serious Person also stars Dana Ivey, Julie Halston, J. Smith Cameron, and Carl Andress. No word yet on release dates.
