The British pop band Pet Shop Boys has dedicated its new album Fundamental to two Iranian teens executed for allegedly being gay. Fundamental honors the lives of Muhammad Askari and Ayaad Marhuni, two Ahwazi Arab 17-year-old boys hanged in July 2005 over their alleged homosexuality.

The new album shot to number 5 on the British music charts upon its release two weeks ago and will be in U.S. stores June 26. (The Advocate)
