Oprah Winfrey discusses her relationship with longtime producing and editing partner Gayle King in the August issue of O magazine, describing it as "otherworldly and designed by a power and a hand greater than my own." In the story Oprah goes on to say, "I understand why people think we're gay." However, the two women go on the record that there is nothing sexual about their relationship. Adds King: "The truth is, if we were gay, we would tell you, because there's nothing wrong with being gay." (AP)
