Gay fashion design pair Richie Rich and Traver Rains of Heatherette will design a T-shirt for the Human Rights Campaign. All proceeds of the $38 shirts will go toward the organization's fight against discrimination.

"Traver and I obviously would not be where we are today without the inspiration and support of our gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender friends and customers," Rich has stated, according to Gaywired.com. "Heatherette has always been about equality--we've never geared our collection to one demographic. We see the world in kaleidoscope vision and design our collection to represent that ideal. Collaborating on this T-shirt with the Human Rights Campaign just felt like the most natural and logical thing to do to show our support for full equality for all people"

HRC will also honor the design duo in New York on February 10 with a 2007 Visibility Award. (The Advocate)
