Former Grey's Anatomy costar Isaiah Washington might be attached to a project soon through NBC after being fired from ABC's hit show in early June.
Washington told Entertainment Weekly, after ABC let him go, that he and his agent were sorting through film and TV offers. "There is one network in particular that's very interested, but I don't want to say anything specific until it's a done deal."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Washington's negotiations with NBC have stalled. On June 21, Washington made news by suggesting in an interview with the Houston Chronicle that former costar T.R. Knight should have been fired instead. He accused Knight of milking the homophobic remark incident to get more screen time and better pay. (The Advocate)
