The new musical adaptation of Mel Brooks's 1974 classic film Young Frankenstein will star Megan Mullally as Elizabeth, a role originally helmed by the late actress Madeline Kahn, reports BroadwayWorld.com. The show is set to open November 8 at the Hilton Theatre in New York, with previews beginning October 11.
The rest of the cast is filled out by Roger Bart as the Gene Wilder-originated Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, Sutton Foster as the Inga, Shuler Hensley as the Monster, Andrea Martin as Frau Blucher, Fred Applegate as Kemp, and Christopher Fitzgerald as Igor. (The Advocate)
