Britney Spears will not take the guest appearance spot in Los Angeles this Saturday for the True Colors tour featuring Cindi Lauper, Debbie Harry, Erasure, and Rosie O'Donnell. A source close to the deal told the New York Post's Page Six that the pop artist, more recently known for her divorce and trip to rehab, would not be able to perform without lip-syncing.
"There's no way," the source said. "Britney said she would only dance or lip-sync--and to be onstage with Cyndi, you have to actually perform. It's not happening now." (The Advocate)
