A woman will be the U.S. commander in chief--at least on Fox's prime-time drama 24. Network brass have not officially confirmed it, but The Hollywood Reporter says the show's producers have lured Cherry Jones on board for the seventh season as the U.S. president.

Jones has also appeared in the films The Village, Oceans 12, Signs, and Erin Brockovich. She is currently in a relationship with former Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip cast member Sarah Paulson. (The Advocate)
