Radcliffe Debuts PSA for LGBT Youths

Radcliffe
Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has debuted his new PSA in support of the Trevor Project, which offers crisis services and a suicide prevention helpline for LGBT youths.

According to MTV News, the PSA, which debuted online, features Radcliffe giving the advice, "If you're feeling helpless or hopeless, there's always a safe place to turn."

The free and confidential helpline, reached by calling (866) 4-U-TREVOR, operates 24 hours per day.

"Be proud of who you are," says Radcliffe in the PSA.

Earlier this year, Radcliffe talked with MTV News about why he supported the project.

"It's something I've always been quite passionate about," he said. "Because I grew up around gay men, it was always a natural thing to me. It was never something I ever gave a second thought to. ... And now I am in a position where I can help an amazing thing like the Trevor Project."
