Sara Gilbert, best known to TV viewers as Darlene Conner on the sitcom Roseanne, will executive produce and co-host a new talk show for moms on CBS.
Gilbert's new show will have a similar format to The View, according to CBS News. The actress will co-host the show with The Early Show's Julie Chen, actress Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, Hairspray's Marissa Jaret Winokur, and King of Queens star Leah Remini. Gilbert co-created the show, which will offer viewers a "mother's view" of pop culture and news events.
Gilbert raises her two children with her partner, Allision Adler. The as yet untitled talk show show will replace the long-running soap opera, As the World Turns.
