Heated Rivalry is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about shows on social media, enrapturing a gay audience as well as a straight one. Amid this hype, the two hunky stars of the steamy Canadian hockey show, Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams, popped into a gay sports bar in West Hollywood, Hi Tops, during its trivia night to surprise the patrons. Both of the show's leading men took turns addressing the crowd, which was clearly excited to see them.
The two thanked the patrons for allowing them to crash the event, and Williams thanked them for watching the show. Then Storrie took the mic and jokingly said, "Thank you for tweeting about our butts." He added that it means a lot to have so many people in the LGBTQ+ community embrace them and love their show. They asked how trivia was going so far, but patrons shouted back that the game hadn't started yet, so they began quizzing the players on the show trivia.
The person who introduced Storrie and Williams shared that the night's trivia was for a charity called Rainbow Labs and asked whether they had anything they wanted to say to the queer kids who may look to them for inspiration and want to be hockey players. Storrie took the mic first and said, "Take up space, be yourself really loud, and don't take shit from anyone." He then handed the mic over to Williams, who said, "Just believe in yourself and be yourself and just swing it and bang it in every which direction and don't let anyone shut you up."
