The Rocky Horror Treasury: A Tribute to the Ultimate Cult Classic
Sal Piro, president of the Official Rocky Horror Picture Show Fan Club for over 35 years, one of early fans who is credited with starting audience participation, and the guy who made the Guinness Book of World Records in 1987 for seeing a movie (Rocky Horror, of course) more than any other person, joined forces with Larry Viezel, director of the New Jersey shadow cast troupe, The Home of Happiness, organizer of international Rocky Horror conventions, and owner of one of the largest Rocky Horror memorabilia collections in the world. The outcome is this collection of photos and behind-the-scenes stories and history on the original stage musical and the 1975 film. Even better: There's pull-out ephemera (Rocky Horror tattoos, movie poster, "Time Warp" dance chart) and musical clips from "Science Fiction/Double Feature," "Dammit Janet," "Time Warp," and several others. $15, BarnesandNoble.com

Star Trek Phaser Remote Replica
This universal infrared Star Trek remote is made from a 3D scan of the actual prop used on the original Star Trek TV series. It's actually two remotes in one -- one uses traditional buttons while the other relies on gesture controls (and it stores up to 36 programmable gestures). Produces different Phaser firing noises and authentic Starship Enterprise sounds. $149, ThinkGeek.com

Tinx200_0

Fabulous Retro Tin Boxes

Each of these quirky little cigar boxes features great graphics with ironic or hipsterish (or possibly totally serious) monikers like "Crafty Crap," "Art Supplies," "Medical Marijuana," "Random Crap," and "Recreational Drugs." Whatever you actually store in these boxes will look much better in there then spread across your coffee table. They'd make cute hostess gifts too. $14.95, BlueQ.com

Zantanax200_0

DC Comics Bombshells Zatanna Statue
The mistress of magic, Zatanna is a crime-fighting magician, member of Justice League of America, and the on-and-off girlfriend of bisexual con artist John Constantine. This beautifully stylized, limited edition resin statue features the magical heroine dressed as a bombshell in the pinup style of the 1940s. In our minds, if not the DC Universe's, she's bi too. $149, ShopDCEntertainment.com

Techstationx200_0

A Portable Tech Station
This portable charging station makes toting all your devices from room to room (or home to home if you and the copilot aren't quite shacking up yet) much easier than other bags. It can accommodate a tablet, a laptop (up to 15 inches), a hidden power strip, and up to three cell phones -- all at once. All cords can be snaked through strategically placed grommeted holes, and the large back pocket can be used to hide other cords or carry paperwork. I keep it by my bedside but it can go anywhere you use your tech devices. $50, GreatUsefulStuff.com

Jetxonsx200_0

The Jetsons Season 3 DVD
The 10-episode final season goes back to the future with America's first space family, featuring cybernetic green card marriages, futuristic dentistry, and feminist power (as daughter Judy juggles three jobs to make her own money). $16.49, WarnerArchive.com

Gilliganx200_0

Gilligans Planet: The Complete Series on DVD
In this cult '70s show, the animated version of our favorite castaways have left their tiny island after building a tiny, crude spaceship and, you guessed it, they're now lost in space. How will they return home from that "three-hour tour" gone so terribly wrong? Perhaps the Skipper and his "little buddy" can help lead the way. $22.49, WarnerArchive.com

Witchlampx200_0_0

Wicked Witch Leg Lamp
Wizard Of Oz lovers illuminate: This wickedly fun 20-inch lamp is actually the Wicked Witch of the East's leg topped off with her hat as a lamp shade. Both the leg and the hat illuminate together or independently. $49.95, WhatonEarthCatalog.com

Lafayettex200_0_0
Your Favorite Character in a Funko Pop!
The thing on my desk that makes me smile every day is a Funko Pop! vinyl figurine of gay actor Jim Parsons as Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory (and his on-screen gal pal, Amy Farrah Fowler). There's something amazing about knowing that we have action figures (or big-headed vinyl art figures, as you may call these cool Funkos) of actual queer actors or queerish characters (still holding out for trans ones, though). There are dozens of great options, but my vote is for Green Lantern Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory; Dana Scully from The X-Files; Lafayette (pictured at left), Sookie, or Pam from True Blood; Fiona from American Horror Story: Coven; the title character from Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Vaneloppe from Wreck-It Ralph; and of course, the gang from Arrested Development. $9.99, EntertainmentEarth.com
