A Twitter feed called @LGBTfacts, intended to spread antigay rhetoric, spawned a countering Twitter hashtag, #LGBTfacts.
The Twitter account, whose bio reads, "Spreading the truth about the abhorrent homosexual lifestyle," has a mere 316 followers and tweets antigay remarks. The hashtag, #LGBTfacts, was created by pro-gay tweeters, according to CNews.com, using comedic tweets to counteract remarks made by the original antigay Twitter account.
