There was plenty of fodder for Twitter comedians out of the 2015 Academy Awards but nothing was as tragically humorous as watching them take aim at John Travolta for accidentally outdoing himself for last year's "Adele Nazeem" incident.
In what seemed like an act of redemption after his infamous butchering of Frozen star Idina Menzel's name during last year's awards, Travolta reemerged as a presenter with Menzel to poke fun of the incident. When Menzel took the stage to present Best Original Song, she welcomed special guest Travolta, saying, "Please welcome to the stage my very dear friend, Glom Gazingo." The harmless jab got awkward when Travolta got a little too handsy with Menzel. "I deserve that," he said, calling her, "My darling, my beautiful, my wickedly talented Idina Menzel," while intensely embracing her face.
Unfortunately, that wasn't Glom Gazingo's only awkward moment of the night. Twitter had plenty to say about his strange behavior.
