Most LGBT people (ok, all people) will be glad to see 2017 in the rearview mirror. As "president" (it still doesn't feel right calling him that), Trump was even worse than we anticipated, singling out LGBT people, and especially trans people, for discrimination. In times like these, it's good to have friends -- and the best of them raged against the injustices being hurled our way and those that singled out women, immigrants, refugees, and People of Color. Instead of sticking their heads down, these straight allies loudly resisted. Thank you.
