Peter Busse, founder of South Africa's first AIDS support organization, the Township AIDS Project, and director of the country's National Association of People Living With AIDS, died last week of AIDS-related complications, reports the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS. Busse had lived with HIV disease for more than two decades. A funeral and memorial service will be held January 13 in Johannesburg. (Advocate.com)
