The gay political group Log Cabin Republicans is extending its outreach efforts on HIV/AIDS-related issues, a press release reports. The group is partnering with David Reznik, a former member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS, who has lectured and written extensively about oral health concerns for those living with HIV/AIDS. He also serves as chief of the dental service for Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.
"We look forward to strengthening our voice in the Republican party and in Congress to advocate for legislation that will help end the toll of this deadly disease," said Log Cabin president Patrick Sammon, according to the release. (The Advocate)
