Elska ignores the chocolate, beer, and waffles. Instead it brings you the men. Read more below.
Elska's 12th issue is dedicated to Brussels. As capital to both Belgium and the entire European Union, it’s a real melting pot of people, and this issue of Elska showcases a wide range of local men and local stories, opening up readers to new perspectives on real gay lives and expanded definitions of beauty. Founder and photographer Liam Campbell tries to capture the men as they are, in their own environments and in their own clothing — or no clothing at all.
“After all the recent rise of right-wing politics around the world, such as with Britain’s Brexit, with Trump’s election, and with anti-immigrant sentiments across the world, I wanted to take Elska to a place that is supposed to be about unity,” says Campbell.
Elska Brussels is 164 pages and is available in a classic print format or in a electronic download version for tablet/iPad. A list of stockists and details of the subscription service can also be found on the Elska website: www.elskamagazine.com.
