Trio network plans "OUTzone" gay program block beginning September 18
As part of cable television's ongoing attempt to attract a queer audience, the Trio network has announced the "OUTzone" gay programming block, which will debut Saturday, September 18. The premiere week will include the films Gods and Monsters and Velvet Goldmine, along with an episode of the Trio series Parking Lot, which was shot at a Cher concert. In subsequent weeks the "OUTzone" will feature films, documentaries, music specials, and the Australian sitcom Kath & Kim.
