Showtime will air "Shouting Silent" on February 7

Cable TV network Showtime will mark Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day on February 7 with a broadcast of the film Shouting Silent, which explores the South African AIDS epidemic through the eyes of a woman who lost her mother to AIDS in 1996. The film received the grand jury prize at the Washington, D.C., Independent Film Festival and second prize at the San Francisco Black Film Festival.
