More than 120 new films and videos will unspool at the 23rd San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, which runs Thursday, March 10, through Sunday, March 20, at various theaters in San Francisco, Berkeley, and San Jose. Included in the festival will be out indie filmmaker Quentin Lee's acclaimed new film, Ethan Mao, about young gay lovers who get embroiled in a hostage crisis.
