Dozens of vehicles were vandalized outside a Houston gay club on Tuesday, reports the Associated Press.
Customers of EJ's said about 28 cars parked in a lot next to the club had damage to their tires and windows. "I have two flat tires and a damaged windshield," victim Andre Wagner told the AP.
Some patrons believe it was a hate crime. "I really honestly do think this was a hate crime and that people are tired of the gays parking on their lot," victim Ronnie Siebert also told the AP. "It's really sad what has happened here tonight."
"They just did this out of anger and frustration behind a lifestyle," Wagner said.
Houston police took reports from the victims who requested them and assisted them with towing information. The club does not own the parking lot, and no security cameras had been installed. (The Advocate)
