The Hammer Museum will present Peggy Shaw and her show Menopausal Gentleman for a one-night engagement July 25. The show is described as part autobiographical monologue, part stand-up comedy, part blues lounge act. Shaw has received three Obie Awards for her work with the lesbian theater company Split Branches, which she founded with Lois Weaver and Deb Margolin in 1980.
