A British woman has admitted to entering into a civil union with her female partner while she was still married to a man. Suzanne Mitchell pleaded guilty Monday to breaching the U.K.'s Civil Partnership Act of 2004, admitting she knowingly entered the partnership before her marriage could be annulled, the BBC reports. The mother of three eventually left her partner and went back to her husband. According to the BBC, the judge released Mitchell on bail, with pre-sentencing hearings scheduled for next month.
