DEMOCRATS:

-Hillary Rodham Clinton, 29%

-Barack Obama, 27%

-John Edwards, 20%

-Bill Richardson, 7%

-Joe Biden, 5%

-Mitt Romney, 36%

-Rudy Giuliani, 13%

-Mike Huckabee, 13%

-Fred Thompson, 11%

The University of Iowa Hawkeye poll was conducted by telephone October 17-24 among a random sample of 285 likely Republican caucus-goers and 306 likely Democratic caucus-goers. The results from the poll have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 5.8 percentage points for Republicans and plus or minus 5.5 percentage points for Democrats.
