Emmy award-winning out director Paris Barclay's newest musical, One Red Flower, will premiere in Southern California this summer. The show, inspired by letters written by Vietnam War veterans, features original music from Barclay and is directed by Ken Sawyer. Maureen McGovern, Elijah Kelley (Hairspray), and Hunter Parrish (Weeds) are all featured as leads in the poignant musical. Performances will be held at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, 1006 Main St., on June 24 and July 1, and at the Brentwood Theatre in Los Angeles, 11301 Wilshire Blvd, July 11-12.
