Museum of TV and Radio in NYC and L.A. celebrate Sondheim's 75th birthday through July 3
The Museum of Television and Radio will mark out composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim's 75th birthday with "Good Thing Going: Celebrating Sondheim at 75." The series will take place at the museum's New York City and Los Angeles locations from Friday, March 18, through Sunday, July 3. Highlights include TV performances of songs from such favorite Sondheim shows as West Side Story, Follies, Company, Sweeney Todd, and A Little Night Music as well as a screening of his composed-for-television Evening Primrose, the 60 Minutes interview with Sondheim that coordinated with the Broadway opening of Into the Woods, and much more.
