Mackenzie Phillips, the eldest daughter of John Phillips, the late frontman of the Mamas & the Papas, reveals in her new memoir that her father raped her. The 49-year-old former star of One Day at a Time discusses the shocking revelation on an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show that will air today.

Phillips once confronted her father about the incest, according to her memoir, High on Arrival, as reported by E!

"We have to talk about when you raped me," she told her father, who died in 2001.

Her father replied, "You mean when we made love?"

The actress, who has battled drug addiction, also said that her drug-using father supplied her with drugs, which ultimately fueled their incestuous encounter the night before her wedding at age 19.
