The Atlanta Eagle bar, which police raided last month, has launched a website seeking to gather information about the incident in one place and collect accounts to reconstruct the chain of events.
Police raided the bar on September 10 and arrested eight people. Four dancers were charged with dancing without a permit and four bar employees were charged with operating an adult entertainment establishment without a license.
However, patrons were also subjected to searches and, they claim, antigay taunts. While the investigation continues, the bar raid has become a lightning rod during the current Atlanta political season.
