Tidbits on Levi's Bits

For all the Leviphiles out there, Playgirl's Daniel Nardicio has some juicy details on Johnston's photo shoot for the magazine that shot Thursday in a Manhattan loft.

Nardicio is the party promoter recently hired by Playgirl to put together high-profile shoots; he snagged Johnston and is now managing the photo spread and all the ensuing publicity.

"We had to rub some of the spray tan off of him because it was too dark," Nardicio says.

Nardicio says they managed to get photos of Johnston naked, holding nothing but a hockey stick.

"We also had him naked, except for a dress shirt."

On Wednesday night, Johnston accepted the "best crossover performer" of the year at the first Fleshbot Awards.

"[Johnston] thought it was the Gawker Awards," Nardicio says.

Fleshbot is part of the Gawker media empire, but Wednesday night's awards show was simply about porn.

"When he heard it was a golden dildo he would be accepting [from presenter John Cameron Mitchell], he asked me to go up and accept it with him. Everyone was like, 'Who's that old guy with Levi?'"

Nardicio says Johnston is already fielding film offers.

"He's totally leading man hot."

On the second day of the shoot, Nardicio tweeted about a question of Johnston's: he wanted to know if he was a twink. Johnston also told Nardicio that he's a supporter of "anybody marrying anybody."
