Police in Washington, D.C., are investigating the murder of 29-year-old gay man Anthony J. Perkins, who they say was found shot to death inside his car early Sunday, DC Agenda reports. The car was parked near Bolling Air Force Base in southeast Washington.

"We have no idea what the motive is," Lt. Paul Wingate told the DC Agenda, adding that they have no evidence so far to indicate the murder is a hate crime.
