Two men have been indicted on hate-crime charges in the brutal attack on a gay man in Queens, N.Y., last fall.
According to the New York Daily News, Daniel Aleman, 26, and Daniel Rodriguez, 21, each face up to 25 years in prison in the assault and robbery of Jack Price, 49, in the College Point neighborhood October 8.
Price, who is recovering, was nearly killed in the attack that occurred when the men spotted him walking around 4:30 a.m. and shouted antigay slurs before beating him severely and stealing his wallet, prosecutors say.
The attack was captured on surveillance video.
