Students at the University of California, Davis, packed a town hall meeting Monday to address two recent hate-crime incidents, including antigay graffiti found painted on the campus Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Resource Center Saturday morning.

"About 400 students showed up to a town hall meeting held by campus officials who sought to reassure them that they were looking into the hate crimes and taking steps to prevent more from happening," reports CBS 13.

"Attendees suggested a number of possible actions for officials to take, including holding diversity classes, documenting hate crimes and increasing funding for diversity programs."

Also last week, a Jewish student found a swastika carved into her dorm room door.

The FBI is investigating the incidents and may try to find suspects by tracking their graffiti handwriting and paint.
