A guard at a Pennsylvania state prison in La Belle, Penn. settled his federal lawsuit claiming co-workers harassed him because they perceived he is gay.
According to the lawsuit, a guard at a Pennsylvania state prison, told prison staff he has a protection from abuse order against John Yanik Jr., a fellow guard, which fueled rumors claiming Yanik is gay.
Documents filed in the U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh show the case was settled following a mediation conference last week. Terms of the settlement have not been released, the Associated Press reported Thursday.
