Tom Ford's Warhol Self-Portrait Sells for $32.6 Million

Fashion designer and movie director Tom Ford saw his Andy Warhol self-portrait sell at auction for a staggering $32.6 million.

Art by not only Warhol but also Mark Rothkos and Jasper Johns fetched huge amounts at the Sotheby's auction Wednesday night in New York. Though it previously belonged to Ford, it's unclear who bought the piece at auction because it was purchased by a third party for an unidentified client.

Another Warhol image, 1964's Flowers, was sold -- Manhattan dealer Nicholas Maclean paid $6.75 million, or $7.6 million with Sotheby's fees.
