Will Munro, a popular and influential artist and DJ in Toronto who "changed the city for the better," has died at age 35, according to the eulogy written by his friend on Now, a Canadian website. Munro, who was also a club promoter, bar owner, activist, and youth worker, came under attack by right-wing activists for creating art with used underwear he found at Goodwill and for addressing youth sexuality. Munro was also considered a big influence on Toronto's club scene by creating and promoting the Vazaleen party, which was known for its welcoming atmosphere for people of all sexual orientations.
