Sam Harris offers his reaction to the Prop. 8 ruling in an exclusive statement to The Advocate.

This is a great and historical day. Not just for gay people. This is a human rights issue for all people and should never have been on a ballot. It's actually a great day for America. I am overjoyed and relieved that my husband and my child, my family, are supported as equal citizens by the wisdom of the court and not subject to the contempt and ignorance of the small minded. Today of all days my song, "My Reclamation" is at it's most powerful. We reclaimed!
