Jemaine Clement's Gay Porn Past

Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement endured a provocative photo shoot, complete with half-naked modeling, for his role in the Steve Carell comedy Dinner With Schmucks.

In the film Clement plays a bizarre performance artist with a penchant for nudity. Producers e-mailed him pictures of naked men, some from gay porn, to give him an idea of what they were thinking of for his role; that was just a precursor to Clement's own photo shoot.

"The studio needed [a picture] of me for the film so I had to find a photographer and say: 'I'd like photos like these taken of myself, it's for a big Hollywood movie.' I asked the photographer where the studio was and she said: Studio? No studio.' So I had to go to a public park in Athens and replicate gay porn pics in my underpants."
