Don't ever say there aren't gay baseball fans -- the publishers of the gay newspapers in Dallas and San Francisco have a $1,000 bet on the championship.
The San Francisco Giants and the Texas Rangers will begin World Series play Wednesday. To make things interesting, the publishers of the Dallas Voice and San Francisco's Bay Area Reporter are putting $1,000 on the line for charity -- the publisher in the city of the losing team ponies up the money for a good cause.
To make the stakes even higher, the losing publisher will pose in the opposing team's garb for a photograph in the winner's newspaper.
