A woman who painted Jersey Shore's "The Situation" is now accusing the reality show star of stealing the piece, posting it on the Internet, and not giving her any credit.
Artist Celeste Gillis claims she contacted Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino via Facebook to tell him about the painting. According to a Facebook exchange between the two, she told him he could have it for an undisclosed sum or some sort of advertising barter through his website or Twitter account.
"The Situation" took the painting and posted it on his Facebook page with the caption "THE MYTH THE MAN THE LEGEND." Gillis claims she never saw a cent and requests for some kind of credit or promotion were ignored.
Gillis told TMZ she has yet to insist the painting be removed because she didn't think Sorrentino would understand copyright laws.
