Conservative pundit Ann Coulter called MSNBC host Cenk Uygur "retarded" for asking GOProud leader Chris Barron about being gay and Republican last week.
According to Metro Weekly, Barron responded to a question from Uygur, who asked "on what planet" conservatives have been welcoming of gay people.
The broadcast was followed by a tweet from Coulter in which she said, "head of GOProud interviewed by retarded person on MSNBC."
Uygur reviewed the incident on his show, where he said he thought Sarah Palin had banned the word "retarded."
