James Franco is in talks to reteam with Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, the out creative duo behind the acclaimed Howl, on a film biography of Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace, reports website Deadline.
Franco, who recently hinted that he filmed a sex tape as a teenager, would portray pornographer Chuck Traynor, who was married to Lovelace and was a producer of the notorious 1972 X-rated film. Lovelace later claimed that Traynor forced her into prostitution and to make pornographic films, beat her, and allowed men to rape her. Kate Hudson has been offered the Lovelace role.
A competing film about Lovelace titled Inferno made headlines last year when star Lindsay Lohan dropped out and was replaced by Malin Akerman.
