Last year, Brothers & Sisters star Ron Rifkin talked with The Advocate about his frustrations over Uncle Saul's lack of a storyline on the ABC drama.
Things appear to be heating up for the character. Weeks after confronting the man he suspects gave him HIV many years ago (the character is played by Richard Chamberlain), Saul is about to find himself in a complicated love triangle.
Family Ties dad Michael Gross joins the cast for a few episodes as a gay food critic who has a romantic history with Chamberlain's character.
"I got to spend a couple of days holding hands with Mr. Chamberlain," Gross told TV Guide. "My wife was excited, too. She would have liked to have done that."
How does Saul work into the mix? Brothers & Sisters is back with all new episodes starting this Sunday.
